Chelsea turned up the heat in the Premiership title race after emphatically destroying Champions League chasing Aston Villa 7-1 with Frank Lampard bagging four. Leaders Man Utd, though, stayed at arm's length after a 4-0 win at Bolton, but Arsenal slumped to a 1-1 draw at Birmingham City hurting their hopes.
In the Champions League race, Tottenham got the job done 2-0 against bottom-club Portsmouth, while Liverpool won 3-0 versus Sunderland on Sunday with more goals from in-form Fernando Torres. Manchester City can re-take fifth spot when they play Wigan on Monday.
Down the bottom, 18th-placed Hull City's 2-0 win over Fulham takes them level on points with West Ham who lost yet again, 1-0 at home to Stoke City. Out-of-form Burnley and Portsmouth both also lost and look destined for the drop. NFL jerseys
